Pumpkin bread

INGREDIENTS

Dry Ingredients (mix in a bowl)

  • ▪︎3 1/2 cups     all-purpose flour
  • ▪︎3 cups             sugar
  • ▪︎2 tspn             baking soda
  • ▪︎1 tspn             baking powder
  •  ▪︎1-1/2 tspn      salt
  • ▪︎2 tspn             ground allspice
  • ▪︎1 tspn             ground nutmeg
  • ▪︎1 tspn             ground cinnamon
  • ▪︎1/2 tspn         ground cloves

Wet Ingredients (separate bowl)

  • ▪︎4 large                  eggs
  • ▪︎1 can (15 oz )      pumpkin purée
  • ▪︎3/4 cup                vegetable oil
  • ▪︎2/3 cup                water

Glaze (optional)

  • ▪︎ 1/3 cup     milk
  • ▪︎1/4 cup     powdered sugar

INSTRUCTION:

▪︎Pre-heat oven to 350°F. 

▪︎In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients.

 ▪︎In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients. Pour the dry  ingredients, mix until moistened.

▪︎Pour the batter into the greased loaf pans

▪︎Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

▪︎Let it cool before removing from pans to wire racks and cool completely.

▪︎ Mix the Glaze together to the desired thickness, and pour on the bread.
