Home made yoghurt

Author: @FurqanReisen Time: 12h

Difficulty: easy

ingredients:

  • 1 litter full cream milk
  • 2 tablespoons plain yoghurt

Procedure:

Add the milk in a pot and heat it on the stove on low while stirring it slowly until it reaches 50 ° or if you don’t have a thermometer you can use your clean finger tip to test the temperature (it should be warm enough for it to feel hot but still tolerable).

Remove the pot from the stove and mix in 2 tablespoons of yoghurt.

Transfer the milk into your desired container or you can leave it in the pot and cover it with the lid.

Wrap with a blanket or a towel and place it in a warm place ( next to the heating during winter or you can heat the oven to 50° then turn it off and place the pot inside).

Leave it to process for about 8 to 10 hours.

Store in the fridge and serve cold with fresh fruits, honey………

Bon apatite!
