Chocolate chip cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup soft unsalted butter
  • 1 cup plain yoghurt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch of salt
  • 2 1\2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1\2 cup chocolate chips

Procedure

Add the butter into a bowel and mix until soft and creamy, then add the sugar and mix again.

Add the yoghurt and mix then add the eggs 1 by one mixing after every one. Add the vanilla extract and mix again.

Add the flour, the baking powder, baking soda and salt and mix.

Add the chocolate chips and fold it into the batter.

Pour the batter into a baking pan coated with butter and flour.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for about 45 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.

Sprinkle some powder sugar on top and serve.
