Party punch

made for holiday dinners, celebrations, hot summer nights

Author: @Moku_O_Keawe

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients

  • 1 2lb bag of cubed ice
  • 1 2 liter size lemon-lime soda, like Sprite, 7 Up, Sierra Mist
  • 1 2 liter size of juice, can be any kind; for kids, I tend to use Fruit Punch
  • 1 half gallon size of rainbow sherbert
  • Citrus fruit: 2 lemons, 2 limes, or 1 – 2 oranges, sliced thin into circles

Procedure

In a large punch bowl, cover bottom of bowl w/ about 2 inches of ice cubes.

Next, lay a layer of sliced fruits, until it covers the entire surface of the ice.

Using an ice cream scooper, scoop out sherbert into little balls until it covers the entire surface of the sliced fruit.

Pour enough juice to bring the liquid up to the half way mark.

Pour lemon-lime soda over the sherbert slowly, until it reaches within 2 inches of the top of the punch bowl.

*Keep remaining ingredients frozen/refrigerated in order to refill, because it goes fast!

*For adult consumption only: if desired, alcohol like rum or vodka could be added.

Bon apatite!
