Ingredients

  • 2 – 3 empty liquor bottles, clean & sterilized, w/ a top that closes
  • tall narrow paper bags
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup instant coffee (not freeze dried)
  • 1 quart vodka
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Procedure

In a pot, add sugar and water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes

Add instant coffee.

Remove from heat4.  Add vodka and vanilla.

Slowly mix well with a spoon  then let mixture cool.

Using a funnel, pour mixture into empty liquor bottles, close containers.

Place each bottle into its own paper bag then twist tight & tape close, so no light is allowed to touch mixture.

Place in a cool, dark place like a cabinet or closet and leave for at least 4 months; the longer left, the better it tastes!

When ready to serve, can be poured over ice; or mixed with tonic soda, milk, or as part of any mixed cocktail.

Bon Apatite!
