Ambrosia salad

Ingredients

  • Array of whatever fruits you have at hand: apples, oranges, grapes, kiwi fruit, papayas, melons, cantalopes, tangerines, pineapples, strawberries, any type of other berries, etc; all cut into bite-sized pieces. If fresh fruits are not available, frozen or can fruits can be substituted
  • 1 bowl of Cool Whip
  • 1package of coconut flakes
  • 1/8 c. diced walnuts (or other nuts; optional)

Procedure

Place all cut up fruit into a large bowl

Add Cool Whip to bowl, mix evenly

Sprinkle coconut flakes in a thin layer atop the fruit mixture

Sprinkle nuts on top of coconut flakes

Refrigerate until ready to serve.
